If you don’t have any lemons on-hand right now you may want to run to the grocery store and pick up a few. Lemons are one of best anti-aging weapons and can brighten skin, work as an exfoliant, a teeth whitener and even a cleanser.

To lighten your skin, dark spots or scars use approximately 2-3 freshly-squeezed lemons in a bowl. Apply with a cotton round to your skin making sure to evenly apply to your face and neck. Lemons are packed full of antioxidants and vitamin C and aids in collagen production which will make your skin healthy, smooth and radiant.

Remove and place in a bowl of cold water and allow to cool in the fridge for around 10 minutes. Place cool tea bags on eyes and allow to sit for at least 5 minutes.

Snacking or adding almonds to your daily diet helps keep skin more supple, reduces fine lines and any uneven skin tone thanks to the fatty essential acids found in almonds. Other foods that contain those fatty essential acids include salmon and tuna.
